“MY METHODOLOGICAL SPACE “
On November 25, 2022, an open lesson was held on the topic “Innovative methods of teaching mathematics.” As part of the marathon “My Methodological Space”, senior lecturer, Ph.D. Seilova R.D. took 1st place for the Best open lesson.
DEFENSE OF DOCTORAL DISSERTATION
On December 8, 2021, at a meeting of the Dissertation Council, a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty “6D060100 – Mathematics” was defended by doctoral student Zahira Nugaeva. The defense took place online in the Kazakh language. Dissertation topic «Дифференциалдық теңдеулер мен гибридтік жүйелердің болжанбайтын шешімдері және олардың нейрондық желілердегі қолданыстары».
The work was highly appreciated by members of the Dissertation Council.
DEFENSE OF DOCTORAL DISSERTATION
On December 21, 2021, doctoral student of the Department of Mathematics (supervisor Prof. A. Asanova) Tokmurzin Zhanibek successfully defended his dissertation. The defense took place online in the Kazakh language. Dissertation topic «Төртінші ретті дербес туындылы дифференциалдық теңдеулер жүйесі үшін бастапқы-шеттік есептерді шешу әдістері». The work was highly appreciated by members of the Dissertation Council.
AWARD OF THE TITLE OF HONORARY PROFESSOR
OF OUR UNIVERSITY
On March 15, 2022, at the Academic Council of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Middle East Technical University of Ankara (Turkey) Marat Akhmet was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of our university.Ахмет Марат Убайдуллович является выпускником Актюбинского педагогического института (1978 г.) по специальности «Математика».
He is the first graduate of the Aktobe Pedagogical Institute in history who defended his doctoral dissertation (1994) and the second of the scientists of the Aktobe Pedagogical Institute who was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Sciences (1984).
Professor Akhmet M.U. prepared 25 candidates of physical and mathematical sciences and PhD, who are now working at Aktobe Regional University named after. K. Zhubanov, Kazakh National University named after. al Farabi, Nazarbayev University, as well as at universities in Turkey, the USA, Saudi Arabia and Libya. Two of them became heads of departments and one director of the Institute of Applied Mathematics. Three professors and several associate professors.
The enormous scientific potential of Akhmet M.U. confirmed by the Hirsch-24 index (Web of Science, Scopus), which is the highest for mathematicians in Kazakhstan.
Since 2017, under the leadership of Marat Akhmet and the head of the Department of Mathematics Tleubergenova M.A. At Zhubanov University there is a group of innovative scientists who conduct fundamental scientific research on differential equations, chaos and neural networks. The results of scientific research are published in highly rated scientific journals (50 scientific articles and 3 books).
The team of the ARU named after K. Zhubanova congratulates Marat Akhmet on being awarded the title of honorary professor!!! Further active cooperation with the Middle East Technical University of Ankara (Türkiye) is the basis for fruitful work and the achievement of interesting and important scientific results.
PHD DIPLOMA AWARD
On July 1, 2022, for the first time in the history of the university, PhD diplomas from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics were presented by the Chairman of the Board and Rector of the University Laura Chapaevna Karabasova.

On August 28, 2022, the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov successfully defended his doctoral dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy PhD by Zhumagaziev Amire Khaliuly on the topic «Многопериодические решения систем уравнений с различными операторами дифференцирования» по специальности «6D060100 – Математика».

DEPARTMENTAL AWARDS OF THE MINISTRY WERE PRESENTED
On January 30, 2022, the rector of Zhubanov University Laura Karabasova presented a number of teachers with departmental awards and letters of gratitude on behalf of the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbekovich.

From December 4 to 5, 2022, the IX International Creative Competition for teachers of mathematics, physics and computer science was held in Almaty.

DEFENSE OF DOCTORAL DISSERTATION
On December 21, 2022, at the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, the defense of the doctoral dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy PhD by Gulsezim Muratovna Aitenova was successfully held on the topic “Study of boundary value problems and multi-periodic solutions of systems of integro-differential equations with the differentiation operator in the directions of the vector field” in specialty “6D060100 – Mathematics”.

On December 29, 2022, at the meeting of the Academic Council of Aktobe Regional University named after. K. The second place was taken by the team of Aktobe University named after K. Zhubanov in mathematics at the Republican Subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by Suleyman Demirel University from April 20 to 21, 2023.

FIRST INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP “BOLASHAK”
AT THE DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS!!!
Congratulations to the senior teacher of the mathematics department of our faculty, Bibigul Omarova, the first international Bolashak scholarship recipient. Bibigul Zharbolovna will undergo an internship at Heriot-Wat University in Scotland.

Good news! By decision of the National Scientific Committee, two significant projects developed by scientists from our university were approved.
The first project proposed by Sartabanov, on the topic “Method of periodic characteristics in the study of oscillations in systems with diagonal differentiation operators,” received funding in the amount of 54,354,258 tenge. This project is aimed at an in-depth study of oscillatory processes and the application of the latest methods in mathematical physics.
The second project, prepared by Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Askarbek Ermekovich Imanchiev, entitled “System of equations with an autonomous derivative in periodic and multipoint conditions in terms of variables: large-scale solutions”, received funding in the amount of 84,576,268 tenge. Imanchiev’s research is devoted to the development of new approaches to solving complex mathematical problems in the field of differential equations.
These projects promise to make a significant contribution to the development of fundamental scientific research and strengthening the scientific reputation of the university at the international level.
In 2017, Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov began cooperation with the Nazarbayev Intellectual School within the framework of the “Үйрен-бөліс” project. The main goal of this project was the introduction of a dual training system in the training of teaching staff, which makes it possible to combine theoretical knowledge with practical activities. In the 2022-2023 academic year, the project continued its successful development.
In May 2023, Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov celebrated the 5th anniversary of the “Үйрен-бөліс” project, which was initiated on the basis of a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation with the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Aktobe. Over the years, the project has become an important platform for the exchange of experience between the two educational institutions, as well as a significant tool in the training of future teachers.
As part of the competition for the best project of 2023 in the direction of “Educational and research work at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School”, first place was taken by a 4th year student of the educational program “6B01501 – Mathematics” Nurzhanat Zhumakankyzy. Her project “Origami as an Exploratory Activities” demonstrated an innovative approach to teaching geometry using origami techniques. The presentation of the lesson became a collective success thanks to the active support of 3rd year students: Ayim Akbota, Aizada Aliyeva, Ayazhan Kuanysheva and Takhmina Ualihanova, also participants in the “Үйрен-бөліс” project. This example clearly illustrates the continuity and cooperation within the project.
For an outstanding project, Nurzhanat Zhumakankyzy was awarded a diploma, and her scientific supervisor, Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Seilova R.D., received a letter of gratitude for her active leadership.
These achievements emphasize the importance and success of the “Үйрен-бөліс” project for the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov. The university plans to continue and expand the project, which will further strengthen cooperation with the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Aktobe. This exchange of experience and joint work will improve the training of teaching staff and introduce innovative teaching methods in higher pedagogical education.

WINNERS OF THE REPUBLICAN RESEARCH
COMPETITION
At the Republican competition, held in the Kazakhstan branch of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, 4th year student of the educational program 6B05401 “Mathematics” N. THREE TEACHERS OF ZUBANOVSK UNIVERSITY
BECAME THE BEST
The names of the winners of the competition “Best University Teacher – 2023” have become known. The winners were 150 university teachers across the country.
Among the winners are three teachers from Zhubanov University. In particular, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics Askarbek Imanchiev, teacher-researcher, PhD, senior lecturer of the Department of Mathematics Zahira Nugaeva and Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Literature, PhD Ainur Kushkimbaeva.
The competition is held annually to increase the prestige of teachers and stimulate professional development.
It should be noted that the competition was held on the basis of the information system of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, through which participants were able to see the transparency of all stages.

At the XVI Republican Student Olympiad in Mathematics, which is part of the cycle of educational programs of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan “B009 – Training of Mathematics Teachers”, students of the Department of Mathematics of Karaganda State University named after Academician E. A. Buketov showed excellent results. In the individual competition, Erkingaliuly Makhambet took second place, and Zhaksylyk Renat took third place. The students also won third place in the team competition.
