The history of the department

The teaching staff of the department: According to the approved staffing the total number of the department is 20 people, including 2 doctors of physical and mathematical sciences, 2 PhD, 5 candidates of physical and mathematical and pedagogical sciences, 8 masters of physics.Also, the Department is attended by a foreign teacher, Professor A. Luschik From the University of Tartu, Estonia.

“7M01502 – Physics” specialty took II. place in 2014 and III place in 2014, III place in 2018

In 2013 by an Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) «6B01502 – Physics» specialty has been accredited for a period of 5 years (№AB0005 from 24.09.2013.) After completion of accreditation in 2018, the re-accreditation for a period of 7 years was carried out (№13014680 from 31.05.2018, № АВ1727, 31.05.2018г-30.05.2025).

In 2015, by an Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) «7M01502 – Physics» (№AB0524 of 04/22/2015) and «6B05301 – Physics» (№AB0519 from 04.22.2015, the) specialtiesare accredited for a period of 5 years.

In 2018 Independent accreditation and rating agency (NAA), specialization «6B01502 – Physics» (License № АВ1730 from 31.05.2018г. – 30.05.2023г.)Accreditation for 5 years.

In 2020, the ranking of educational programs of Universities of the National chamber of entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan “Atameken” specialty «6B01502-Physics» took 2nd place

In 2020, the ranking of educational programs of Universities of the National chamber of entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan “Atameken” specialty «6B05301-Physics» took 3rd place

In 2020, the specialty «6B05301 – Physics»  by the decision of the National Academy of Sciences “INDEPENDENT ACCREDITATION AND RATING AGENCY” passed specialized accreditation for a period of 7 years.

In 2020, the specialty «6B01510 – Physics-Computer Science» by the decision of the National Academy of Sciences “INDEPENDENT AGENCY OF ACCREDITATION AND RATING” passed specialized accreditation for a period of 5 years.

In 2020, the specialty of the Master’s degree «7M05301 – Physics» by the decision of the National Academy of Sciences “INDEPENDENT AGENCY OF ACCREDITATION AND RATING” passed specialized accreditation for a period of 7 years.

In 2020, the specialty of the doctoral program «8D05301 – Physics»  by the decision of the National Academy of Sciences “INDEPENDENT ACCREDITATION AND RATING AGENCY” passed specialized accreditation for a period of 5 years.

The main task of the department is training the bachelors in specialties: «6B01502 – Physics», «6B05301 – Physics”, «6B01510 – Physics-computer science» and masters in specialties: «7M01502 – Physics», «7M05301 – Physics”, and doctoral specialties «8D05301 – Physics».

The graduates of specialty «6B01502 – Physics” are assigned an academic degree “Bachelor of Education”, of specialty «6B05301 – Physics»are assigned an academic degree “Bachelor of natural science.”, of specialty «6B01510 – Physics-computer science»are assigned an academic degree “Bachelor of Education”

The graduates of the specialty «7M01502 – Physics» are assigned an academic degree

– “Master of pedagogical Sciences”(period of study is 2 years)

By the specialty «7M05301 – Physics» is assigned an academic degree “Master of Physics”.

Specialty «8D05301 – Physics» is assigned to Doctor of philosophy (PhD)
